Hi Wilson, I just used some spare Aluminum window frames. Cut and drilled to create the mounts and used Vorza ESC cover to secure the ESC:

Took mine out and ran it for the first time this year a week or two ago. I had it geared too tall with 18/47, so after the run I dropped back down to 17/47. 18/47 is probably ok on flat land, but just didn't really let the LRP30S2 wind out in second very well.

Really wish the camera was in focus for the offroad stuff. I ran it pretty hard for about 750cc's worth of fuel. I had 47 minutes worth of blurry footage... gave me a headache skimming through it. lol

IMG_4744.JPG IMG_4739.JPG Finally done with the extended tvp project. Cleaned and lubed everything, and drilled new holes in my original shell. I thought I would want an XL shell but I like this one a lot.

cutting the antanae tube down and sliding a good amount of the wire back into the radio box so they are slightly lower than the rollbar will save you many headaches.with a digital reciever, even if the antennae is all stuffed in the radio box, it will not affect distance very much
that was my first lesson with savages and the way the it is placed.
the first lid-skid and your antanae wire is mangled

Today is a bittersweet day for me. I sold the 1st and 2nd RC I ever bought which was a Savage 25 and a Cen Matrix Arena TR. That's the bitter part. The sweet part is I moved them to fund the purchase of a Savage XL with a OS 30VG motor and another XL roller. I'm also about the put the LRP 30 on the XL I already own and get it broken in as well.

Wasn't today, it was actually yesterday, but I installed the alza racing bulkhead kit on my 4.6, along with an RPM skid plate which fits amazingly well.

On my 25 I completely rebuilt the shocks, put 35 wt up front with 37.5 wt in the rear along with some very cool looking green progressive springs from FFRC that make the truck look awesome and really stand out, but also handle better. Has anyone checked out the bodies from Jconcepts BTW? They're badass looking, I know they're made for electric MT's but they should fit our trucks.

If anyone has a pic of their savage with a JC MT body Id love to see it!

After the Hellfire Tower Mod, I did some minor alterations:

    1. Modified stock body posts to fit into the HF towers
    2. Trimmed the roll bar handle so I can lower the body shell position
    3. Painted the a red accent on the Proline Trifecta wing's wickerbill

Ordered parts for my first mod in my new Savage X 4.6. Got a hump pack, LED battery level indicator, and Y harness for charging connection on the way.

Waiting on a slipper clutch. I bought a used xl 5.9
from ebay. It been one thing after another. Mainly because previous owner didn't take care of it.
I installed a new flywheel, clutch shoes, and robinson racing clutch bell with new bearings. When spinning the spur I noticed it was wobbly. Removed it and found slipper disk was all tore up. Got it on order from RCBOYZ. Then we will be ready to roll.

Dug it out of the shed, replaced the spur gear (again) and gave it a wee clean. Will take it out for a bash at weekend. 20170525_122306.jpg 20170525_122247.jpg 20170525_122149.jpg 20170525_122231.jpg 20170525_122142.jpg

    Cheers Jam!

Yeah the fuel is now gone. I don't know why i left it with fuel in it, must have been pretty pee'd off with it when i put it away.
