I think if you get an extended Chassis and then go with the 40 series, any of them, it will probably make it a bit more controllable. The Axial will bolt right on since they are 17mm.
If you want some ideas on doing this you might check out E-Savage.com, they have some pretty cool builds going on over there with guys building their own version of the FLUX. Here's one thread...

Nice Video! Did you see the Air that thing got on the Backflip?!?!
Not exactly something you see being advertised by the manufacturers that often, if ever.
Looks Great! I've had the FLM Chassis for a while now and I love it. I still get Wheelies out of mine, but I also upgraded to the Axial .32.
BTW, which Pro-Line body did you order? The one for the Savage will not fit with the Extended Chassis. I had to order the one for the LST to make it fit.
There's also the Fastlane Machines Low Center of Gravity TVP FLM45200

Looks like it would be a great engine for a Truggy. I know I love my Axial .32 spec1 for the brute power it gives you to get the Savage moving. I can't wait to see how the .28RR works with it as well.
If you're going with the Maximizers get the Losi Zombie Maxx tires. They run great on the Grass & in the dirt. I'm not sure about Gravel though.
Another Alternative would be the 40 Series Dirt Hawgs or Mulchers on either Axial or the Pro-Line Beadlocks. These are both Considerably lighter than...
OMG, those are the baldest tires I have ever seen on a 1/8th scale buggy. That is hillarious!
BTW, did'nt Kyosho make a WRX bodied Rally version of the Inferno a couple of years ago? Might look for one of those bodies.
I don't know how much it would help with the weight, but a set of Low Center of Gravity Carbon Fibre TVP's would help with the Handling. And you'll be surprised how much the Mid-tank helps in that regaurd as well.
No problem at all, just let me know what you had in mind. BTW, I also have a set of Brand New Wheels and Tires for a OFNA Dominator (17mm hub). They are 3 spoke white Wheels with HOBOA Racing tires, never ran if you're interested. Thanks.
Just gives you a great excuse to go buy new (Upgrade!) parts! If you need new TVP's\Chassis try either the FastLane Machines LCG or the Innovative-RC ones. I got the FLM one and I love it. A lot of the guys around here went with the IRC, either way they hold up better than the Stock ones. and...
