    i have had 3 - 3 spd trannys in 3 different savages and on all 3 i have had problems w/ the spur gear running wobbly on the shaft that it is attached to that comes off of the tranny. when i pulled the spur gear off of all 3 trannys and spin the shaft it is wobbly. anyone else ever seen this...

    i'll check it out. sounds feasible. i ran 2.5 gallons through it w/ no issues and it only happened once i took it off and transferred it to the 3 spd. thanks.

    hot pink or fluorescent orange so they'll stand out in the grass or leaves. slap ma fro sells the flm heavy duty dogbones. they cost the same as the hpi hd bones.

    i've broken 3 of the stock 4.6 dogbones, so i bought the hpi hd ones and broke 3 of them yesterday. i had the flm hd ones on my old truck and never had any issues. they're some beefy mofos. i'm going to buy the flm ones and spray paint them pink in case they pop out.

    i came back to tell you i got it. i ditched the springs, used fuel line, and slid the front stopper on the brake back even w/ the throttle stopper and that did it. you think i still need to adjust the coupler and put the springs back on?

    i sold my truck, but the linkage was messed up. i almost have the ofna linkage mod finished, but ran into a snag. w/ the spring in front of the slider on the throttle link the carb won't close all the way. if i take it off and put a stopper right up against the slider my braking gets messed...
