If you like to bash... (and how couldn't you?) here's an idea to get a few extra flips out of that crummy @ssed (yet good lookin') HPI body.
Step #1 - Drill a very small hole (1/8" or less) dead center, and at the very end of any cracks. This should stop any crack from progressing any further.
Step #2 - Locate your longer cracks, and drill one hole (1/8") on both sides of the crack every 1/4" or so.
Step #3 - Use the smallest zip ties you can find through each pair of holes along the crack to "stitch" the body back together.
This technique also works well to add other "appendages" to the body securely.
P.S. Don't be afraid to "amputate" any body pieces that just can't be saved... it will balance out the weight of the zip ties you added!
