almost got it--need help

i sold my truck, but the linkage was messed up. i almost have the ofna linkage mod finished, but ran into a snag. w/ the spring in front of the slider on the throttle link the carb won't close all the way. if i take it off and put a stopper right up against the slider my braking gets messed up. the throttle opens all of the way, but won't close. w/ the stopper in front right up against the slider it closes all the way. any advice??? i have to ship it out tomorrow so i have to have this done tonight. i hope everyones not in bed.

adjust the coupler that goes over the ball so it is not screwed in as far which will make the carb close more. keep the spring there it needs to be or else when u brake ur truck will die out or bend the linkages

i came back to tell you i got it. i ditched the springs, used fuel line, and slid the front stopper on the brake back even w/ the throttle stopper and that did it. you think i still need to adjust the coupler and put the springs back on?

Leave the fuel line it's alot more worthy than the spring
