Lpr's are great for bashing still on a truck like this. Yea if your savage weighs 15 lbs you don't want to use them but something like this they would be great.

This will be on it's way tomorrow along with your other part Fred.

rockout saweet!!!!!

& stop h8in on my sweet tires nubz 😛

sent me a set of whatever you want me to run & i'll run em.

I have watched LRP rims crack (bead area) on a hellfire they are not a bash tire on any truck. Keep em on the track. They have also held up fine on my FLM savage with light air jumps. its all in what you use them for ...

5s Packs

Chose the hyperions caz i wanted to try 5s

3s pack = 35c (65c) 6500Mah = 1lb. 3.5 oz
2s pack = 35c (65c) 6500Mah = 12.8 oz

imho i see a prob with the 2 different sized packs as one may weigh more than the other and it may "dumb" down the handling part of this build but you FINALLY got some packs so where's the vid at huh??? jk but really where's the vid at.

eric....

7oz difference so not quite 1/2 pound.

doesnt seem to make a difference but I'm still getting used to the truck. only ran it through 3 packs so we'll see.

that 3cell is HUGE got a link to that pack? i think it has a few parrell cells in there to get the MAH up... that's why its so thick

my smc 3s packs were nowhere near that wide

. hophopefully this weekend if i can fit it in between playin with the kiddies...........................

I haven't looked and this thread in months. Just took another look and damn Freddy. This truck is serious business. Do you have any videos of it running yet?

thx Paul & not vids yet. i ran it threw 3 packs & all i can say it is COMPLETELY different from nitro. Not alike in any way.

got it apart for a couple small changes: shocks, longer esc to rx extension, customize batt box.

but yeah, it rips.

:woo: Jeeeeeeeezuz!! Great build very clean and proffesional. I am in the midst of a similar project (flux/savage brushless).
