I went to my local hardware store (B&Q) and priced all these parts up and it all came to £25 ($50)!!!!!! (
I will stick with my paint tin for a stand...
Ha ha, exactly the same prob here, Homebase literally wanted to rape my wallet for one of these ah the delights of rip-off Britain!
Just something i found out last night. If you have a FLM or other aftermarket tvp you may want to go a little bit wider one those center pieces. i cut mine to 3 1/4 and it was a little bit too narrow with the hex hardware and thicker tvp's.
please tell me you actually use that pump jack for the savvy

i will be builind for a stock savy tvp......I'm watchin all measurements lol
Just another idea for you all. When I built mine I added those hollow metal door silencers under each fitting on the bottom of the stand (8) and another (4) of them on the upper tee where the truck actually sits. This helps absorb vibrations, keeps the stand in place on the bench and keeps the paint from scratching off the bottom of the stand.
Pretty easy - just drill the proper size hole at each location and insert the silencer (glue in place if you like). They should be available at the hardware store, but I just had some from an old project.
