    I just got this new savage XL, I am trying to break-in, the engine won't turn over when the glow plug is on, the rotor start keeps resetting because it can't turn the engine over...........any suggestions on getting this thing going. Thank you

    I am running 20% fuel and, I burnt out a 3 med plugs. 1 odonnell 100 and the other 2 not sure the brand. I did not break the engine in after I changed the rod and piston. I will try that. Thank you

    Just changed the piston and con rod in my engine, it run great but burns out the glow plug. I used 3 glow plugs in less than 10 minutes. What can I do to correct that? Thank you

    My HPI Savage XL 5.9 engine crapped on me today..........so I need to replace it. Should I replace it with; (1) Same engine - HPI 5.9 engine (2) HPI 4.6 (if I were to use this one, will it still shift to 3rd gear?) (3) any other ...........What do you recommend? Thank you

    It gets better, I remember my first nitro........men I wanted to throw that thing in the trash. Be patient and I suggest you brake it down, get to know your truck and make sure everything is in place, screws tight and use the manual. It was very helpful to me,
