Glow Plug

Just changed the piston and con rod in my engine, it run great but burns out the glow plug. I used 3 glow plugs in less than 10 minutes. What can I do to correct that?

What % fuel are you usin and what heat range plug? Also, leavin the igniter on for too long of a period will fowl out a plug real quick. Also could be due to the way the motor is tuned. Start at factory settings and go from there.

new piston need to break it in so it seats up with the sleeve..what pligs you going through? i got some os plugs once that only lasted a tank per plug ..bad batch or crappy plug idk.. but my mc coys work great every time lol

I am running 20% fuel and, I burnt out a 3 med plugs. 1 odonnell 100 and the other 2 not sure the brand.

I did not break the engine in after I changed the rod and piston. I will try that.
