After breaking in my LRP and getting smoked by a flux I'm just starting to dive into gearing. I need to be faster.
I currently run 48/16 with a Robinson Racing Spur and a factory vented CB.
I'm looking at the Robinson racing website:

After almost a gallon of fuel through my lrp .28 I finally opened it up. It is so much faster than my old 5.9.
I was so excited. I didnt really expect much out of it. Thinking it wouldnt be much faster than my 5.9. I was very wrong. This thing SCREAMS
thanks everyone for helping a noob in...
I have 3 batteries on my savvy. One is the ofna 1700mah hump pack strapped to my rear bulkhead. I also had to put on the factory 1200mah hump pack on my front bulkhead because the 1700 ran out. The factory battery ran out today also so now I have 3 sets of batteries on my savage. the ofna 1700...
Running my new lrp 28 with an ofna 86 pipe I'm a little disappointed in the power. When i first ran it my slipper clutch was loose. I thought it was the new clutch not grabbing. So after a few more high speed passes I check the slipper clutch and realize that was the issue. I tighten that down...
I'm using the robinson racing spur gear with the hpi factory vented clutch bell. My rr spur did come with a clutch bell but I didn't install it. Anybody have any issues with using the vented bell as opposed to the rr bell? They're both have the same number of teeth.
Well I spent a whole Saturday building a portable ramp. It took me a whole 30 minutes of top speed hits to smash it to smithereens.
I'm looking for a collapseable or portable bmx or skateboarding ramp I can bring to the park that would last. I see some online for some insane prices though...
After installing big bores, hd steering knuckles and hd blocks with rpm a-arms I have an issue. The savy has horrible toe in or toe out alignment depending upon how far the shocks are compressed. Anybody know what I did wrong?
If I put my savy down on the ground Ill have really bad toe out...
I installed dynamite aluminum clutch shoes and a mugen spring. When installing I couldn't get the spring to fit into the clutch nut grooves. Do I need a different nut? The springs rest above the groove. I installed the shoes with the dynamite logo visible. Any ideas? Thanks!
I installed 4 badlands onto 4 maximizer beadlocks. Neither has any vent holes. I noticed it when I finished putting together the last one. What would be some ways to put a few nice holes without taking the tire off? I'd rather poke holes in the tire instead of the rim. Had a ton of water...
I just picked up an lrp and was going to check it for leaks. The carb has the HSN on te left side and the servo attachment on the right. Flipping the carb around so my throttle servo can be next to it wont cause any issues will it? I'm doing a mid tank build too.
Sitting at home bored with a broken savage I decided to go over to my dads to build a ramp. Check out what we made. This thing is insane! I can get 15-20 feet in the air with 3 backflips no prob. Some videos to come.
A bit of a better angle:
all folded up:
We made it out...
I have a pinion that strippd out. thinking it was a diff I bought the bulletproof diff kit. How do I know if this is the bulletproof diff from factory? I don't want to open it up if i don't have to. please let me know how to tell thanks!
anybody here ever try these things out? I'm thinking of picking up a set but on an almost $800 price tag I don't know if this is something I really wanna but on impulse.
Sat up last night tinkering with my XL getting the 3rd degree why I spend so much money on a car that breaks all the time by my women. thinking about my rc addiction and the question of why I liked driving this small car around in circles popped into my head.
I have a lot of hobbies. From...
I ordered my Bulletproof diffs, rpm a-arms, integy hd steering blocks and rear castor blocks. While I have everything apart do you think I should upgrade the cupjoints to the HPI HD ones? Also, their are 2 different ones on the website:

After about 30 minutes of bashing My rear wheelie bar pops out of socket and the pin that holds the upper a-arms slide out. is there a better way to keep these in besides the way I have it?
