46/19 Gearing

After breaking in my LRP and getting smoked by a flux I'm just starting to dive into gearing. I need to be faster.

I currently run 48/16 with a Robinson Racing Spur and a factory vented CB.

I'm looking at the Robinson racing website:

they have a 46 spur and a 19 cb. That comes out to a 2.42 gear ratio. I don't really see any threads on people who run that combo so I'm checking to see if thats a stupid combo.

46/19 should give you some decent top speed but it will take a bit away from your bottom end

Would it still pull the front wheels up?

depends, what are you using?
i run 47/18 on a extend and lightened chassis and i get alot of lift, but no wheelies.

it might take some effort to pull your truck up on the rear wheels. i know my axial.28s1 will pull the wheels if the tune is right on 19/47. i also run a flm ext truck.
