My wheel bearings are extremely noicy, a squicky noise They are really old and have been standing for a long time! Are there any option wheel bearings?

Boca Bearings or Team Fast Eddy bearings - both companies offer great products.

So do these fit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPI-Savage-...pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item3385d54da9

Do any1 got a link to good steering bearings aswell?
And if u got other tip on what stuff i really need to fix, throw it at me! :-D I got all rpm susp parts and i got rpm skid plate under, I'm ordering big bore shocks now since my original (8 shocks) already are kinda.. heheh! When the truck is pushed down it wont come back up x)

My rear diff is gone x) any1 got an epic upgrade on that and a guide how to dissmantle it?

Well if their bolt on its worth a try! Its not the big pionion thats gone, its the small one that lost 3 tooths! Is the Flux rear diff okay?

There is a local shop who sells fux bulletproof diff for 59 dollar! Is it worth a shot?

Well the flux 29/9 diffs are supposed to be pretty tough, it is all in how they are shimmed and maintained also. inside the differential is a set of gears (the flux and most Savages have 4 gears inside) to control differential action, usually accomplished with different weights of fluid, and then there is a pinion and a ring gear just like in a 1/1 vehicle, landing jumps on power is the most likely cause of blowing up gears....

Got handle of a flux diff! just changed it and mounted it all back together, the truck wont go when its on the ground, but if i lift it up the wheels run, i think ive forgot to put a Shim on the small "pinion" gear inside the diff.. could that be the case?

Hey! Car works great but it eats pinions.. Mostly in reverse.. The mesh is perfekt.. The only thing tht can be the case is tht the engine bracket is queer:s
Hmm

Hmm

could be the spur is hardened and the pinions are not, this would cause the pinion to get eaten up after just a couple runs.....

Wich means the spur also needs to be changed? Both are original hpi savage gears.. I think i need to line up my engine mount 100% and don't be to afraid of gear noises from the spur and pinion

Hey guys!
New to the forum!

Ive owned a XL 5.9 savage for 2-4 years now and i just got myself a HPI Vorza about 1-2 years ago! Some days ago i dissmantled the whole car and started to buy in parts for the Flux rebuild!
Ive currently got everything i need but now I'm after a motor/ esc! And i wonder, whats the best choice for me? WP is a must! And it has to go just as fast or faster then my Vorza! Some guys here in norway recommanded

This one?

Do you guys got any other suggestions?
And last, this is an all original XL version, is there something that is a MUST to update or parts that easily snap off wich i should buy in as spares?
Thankfull for all answers!

Best reegards from Norway (sorry for my grammar) :D
Which kit did you use? I have the 3speed

The Tranny can be converted to electric, it will not hold up to brushless very long and you can save so much weight by converting it to the electric tranny.

Is it different from the 2speed kit or its the same?? There is no available ready full kit, so I need to collect the parts my self, motor parts i know but for the trany I'm not sure, so if any body could help with gear parts??

Hi.

I'm no "electric" expert but i know few things about savages. I'm not sure what are you going for but if I would convert nitro to electric then i would buy:
1.https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-xl-2017/73-2017-flux-xl-chassis-plates-only-3mm.html
2.https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-xl-2017/74-center-differential-kit-xl-2017.html
3.ARRMA Center Differential with 50t spur gear (AR220029, ARA310959 )
4.https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-xl-2017/77-flux-xl-LiPo-plate.html (it allows you to have batteries in the center, so side battery trays not needed.
5.https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-xl-2017/79-flux-xl-low-servo-plate-parted.html
6.https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-standard-xl/49-xl-esc-plate.html
7. (OPTIONAL) https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-standard/11-bulkhead-brace-conversion-kit.html
8.(OPTIONAL) https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/savage-nitro/13-bulkhead-plates.html
9. (OPTIONAL) https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-standard-xl/17-skidplate-xl.html
10.(OPTIONAL) https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/flux-xl-2017/183-savage-grab-handle-xl-2017.html
So now we have bulletproof truck, install electrics and your good to go. Assuming you have bulletproof diffs. Not cheap
Second option (cheaper)
https://rc4me.us/product/hpi-savage-flux-conversion-kit/ + add electrics.
If your looking for just tranny upgrade then you should aim for one that has center differential. Otherwise the diffs wont last, no matter what pinion/ring gear you running.

My opinion would be get this tranny to convert to electric: Alza Transmission
I have both savages and it was cheaper with the Alza transmission, look at the pictures I made my own battery mounts.20210208_121555 (Large).jpg20210208_121610 (Large).jpg

Thanks Jabbo & Goose1072,
You gave me alot of info and parts Jabbo & Goose seems like he understands me butter or to what I need, the thing is the more i check and red about it I get more confused, no I don't even know what my Savege's are, alot of models and numbers each one describes hus truck, thats make finding the parts I need more hard specially I'm way too far from you guys, I'm planning to convert one if my savage's due to the shortage of nitro since the corona Virus and sometimes itsnot availble any where for months!! So converting one is a good solution for me so I can still enjoy the hobby, I'm looking for the must do parts so the car will function normal with no issues, how to know which type of savage are mine? They are nitro 5.9 xl, thats what i know they are but some numbers like 21-25?!?!
I already got the electric kit(2250motor &esc)+6s battery, so now i just need the engine mount and 3speed replace parts, the minimum the parts will be the better,
Thanks again guys

I think i need to replace the spur gear too, because i tried to fit the motor but in the 52spur it's impossible to fit & the 47spur almost fits but its tight, i got 20 pinion fir the motor

This is the truck and gear parts that i have, I already upgraded the diffs to the bulletproof, the transmission has only 1plastic gear and the rest are metal

Is it ok to get the flux engine mount & the flux transmission internals?? Or it must be a conversion parts?
I found the eng mount and the transmission gear & shaft:

1-Aluminum Alloy Motor Mount Plate Brace for HPI 1/8 Savage Flux HP 100906 100903 100907 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NMZSHZ...abc_86EG88KBF0XT81YF8980?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

2-ShineBear RC Car HPI 100905 Savage Flux 44t Upgraded Central Differential Gear 4.6 Electric Gear Driven https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MY4CDF...abc_KSYTDK4V9AJ53REBD2F7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

its difficult for me to buy parts from other webs so I'm stuck with amazon due to where I live in the Middle East

The kit from rc4me is not the same gearbox i have

To be honest I think the kit would be the cheapest way to upgrade the truck to electric, I didn't know you can still get these.
It give you the battery boxes, chassis plates and the tranny that you would need to do to get it to electric.

If you don't want to go that route you will need to use the ALZA transmission since it takes care of the tranny and motor mount, with this setup you can use pretty much any motor and spur combination but the tranny kit is not complete when you purchase this. You will need a diff for the tranny which does not come with it and you will still need to create a battery mount.

so you will need to decide if you would like to spend $200 for the kit or about $150 for the ALZA kit and make your own battery trays.
