don't ya hate that when you can see you parts getting closer and closer but not fast enough!!?awsome build bank!!!

Your 3s pack fit in your bat box? lol

his packs are 5A vs 6.5A so naturally the cells will be smaller.

looks like those packs would fit inside the stock box with the 1/16" hard case I'm workin on (hope to have one done by sat so you guys can see at the bash).

nice built bankie

Dangit...my plan did not work. I will have to get my money back from the guy I told to "loose" your parts so I could find and claim them as my own..

Looks great bank, nice build.

:lmao: you know that VA comment was just for you...

very nice build u got going bank. What shocks you putting on this bad boy? Your 3s pack fit in your bat box? lol

yep that and weight over the 6500 pack is why I went with 4 5K packs over 2 6500's. Being a flux= (basher) I'm not concerned with run times over weight flight times is what I'm after. Also want the batt boxes to stay on the truck when it comes down from 20+ feet height.

Awesome build Justin. You have gotten a long ways.

You better get that thing going. I have most of the parts i'm putting on mine and the rest should be here Tuesday including the truck. Although I need to cut the parts probably next Saturday morning or I may try for tomorrow late afternoon. I will get the RSC's at a later date just gatta save up to spend the $140.

Na anyhow you are doing a great job. Probably one of the sickest builds out there and very well pre planned and doing it correct instead of just slapping it together.

Justin you will have to post a weight with the front bumper and shocks on and receiver in plate. Basically all ready to go. Maybe no battery's, body, tires.

Sweet! I've been waiting for this to unfold :)

Looking good Bank! Can't wait for the videos!!

If you get close Ill finish it with zip ties and duct tape to run first ! LOL JK

Thanks for letting me try this new TVP first. I think its going to be a winner. Happy we didn't do the custom PRC/DB -17 now. I think this truck will tame the power just enough while still being grossly over powered and fun to bash/trick with ...

in this trim it was just over 7 pounds

Awesome, I'm glad we did it as well. As you can see you inspired me to do a build as well. I to think this chassis is the trick for the FLUX. You are after the same as me Weight and strength. I would love to see someone put out a FLUX chassis this strong and this light for the FLUX, it's probably more than half the weight of any XL Aluminum FLUX TVP's.

O Jason 1 more thing this is sweet all by itself!!! But I want to cut a new right side TVP and motor plate in the near future. Just need to move motor opening back a hair for some more custom idea's I have. Not for production, but you can keep the numbers saved if people want to try it too.

Also don't forget that 7# is with the alloy bulkheads too. We both know I am a plastic fan... So given the stock bulkheads this XL would be even more light... I only really used them caz I got a deal on them at 50% cost. they may be sold in the near future and HPI bulks put in for more weight savings (not that it needs it)

Truck looks Awesome Justin. Really diggin the mechanical brake idea. that will help out with a lot of the issues of the flux, plus give it the braking feel your used to. Props for doing something different. but you just know there's going to be about 20 look a likes in a month right? *couch* prolly me *cough* :p

I'm a marketing giant just 8th scaled down ... Robin and Jason don't like me caz I'm a nice guy ...
