thanks guys!! Robin said the engine is inbound........all i am waiting for is that and a couple more things while i was at it. an HPI aluminum 1 piece mount, HPI 49T spur, red LED's for the tailights that will flash, and LED's for the headlights. i also went ahead and bought the Spektrum DX3S while i was at it......my DX2 was like new but a little outdated. i have to make a steering mod on the hpi arms to get the tighter steering..... i will post pics of that because the steering wasn't from **** on it. i have the new HPI Suspension kit.... after constant phone conversations with Chris from HPI we found out that the steering arms were redone with only one tie rod mounting screw on it......instead of the two like the older kits. i just took my dremel and shaved the part that hits the mount down... now this thing has a sharper turn to it. i also will post pics of the midtank now that it's done......

now for the new modifications.......

here are the parts and pieces that i shaved to get more turning radius out of the savage. i dremeled the bottom of the stop arm that connected with the carrier brace. this worked awesome and actually gave me the steering that i wanted...but the arm came in contact with the lower arm. Mr dremel fixed that with no problems at all....and i have my desired steering.

AND WHAT BAD A$$ vehicle would be comeplete without some Dirty Danglers????

matt i have the bb and i have not had a problem running them i have 42wt in the front and 35 in the rear

i ran them on my last savage with 35 all the way around......liked them really well.......these have 50 in them since this willmostly be a drag truck.....but just wanted to know how guys likked the LST's
