Ya it was a blast getting to that point had to laugh. I bet my savy wouldn't have broken so easy but who knows at the temp that day prob any plastic would have been brittle.
The Maxx was up and going again next day and out in the snow again the day after with Jumbo Kongs on her that was a blast

Heres a few pics & details of the damage my Savage has sustained
over the last few months due to hard & not so hard bashing!

1. Full Force rear shock tower (too many bad landings)

2. Flm rear shock tower (not designed for heavy bashing)

3. Hardcore Racing arm (hit ramp from the rear due to miss judgement)

Impressive! More reasons to stick with plastic. ;)

Your not wrong there bud.

Main reason i got the alloy was because they were going for a
good price & even though i had heard the warnings i still had to
find out for myself.

Fullforce shock tower £26 new delivered from Ebay

Flm buggy towers £16 used delivered from another forum

Hardcore Racing upper & lower arms complete set £32 delivered
from a buddy.

The Fullforce lasted ages, the Flm 2 tumbles & the Hardcore
were bashed all day long then i hit the ramp.

You can see the incident in my Black Sunday III at the end!

Took the Savage out today after replacing the fronts arms after the
other weeks little accident which trashed my Hardcore lower arm!

Tried some Model Technics 30% Big Bang & all seems fine.

However,i lost front drive & thought it was the diff but on further
investigation noticed something not quite right :p

damn that bulkhead has seen some better days WOW

and it might help if there was a out drive cup what happened !!!!

Bulkheads fine bud just a little grubby from bashing.

The outdrive cup was there when i started & i can only assume
it was fractured after my little 'incident' at Blackheath the other
Sunday when i trashed an alloy arm :duh:

Well ive started to tear down my truck ready for the weekend
& my loss of front drive was caused by a missing drive cup.

Just hope the internals are ok

looks like those screws are starting to strip out...might wanna swap those out as well, before you're no longer able :Xfingers:

Yeah - sorted that as you can see

But the rear diff needs more than new screws lol - the screws were
loose when i took it out of the housing which may explain this little mess

we both had fun that's all that matters now that i have calmed down i can see that

Man that pipe looks REALLY FUNNY OMG !!!!!!!!! I really don't want my girlfriend touching mine now after I seen that (is your tvp's ok ) nice damage... She gets a Thumbs up !!!! she'll get used to it Hey u have a bashing buddy now yeaaaaaaaa let me know if u need parts !!!

the tvp's are still good that was wone of the first things i checked upon tear down. Their is a good chance she won't be running the trucks for alittle while.

Very nice damage, give her some time, remember we all started some where. I let my wife drive any time she wants, if she breaks something-so what- I usually get lovey-dovey treatment for awhile and oddly enough I like wrenching more than driving, so when something breaks-time to tinker and upgrade.
Look at this way she can't have a fit about the money spent to fix it...she broke it. :hardlaugh:
Finding a wife or girlfriend that shares the same R/C interest is not an easy feat, so be sure to treat her good and keep her around. Can never have to many bashing buddies.

If you need some parts let me know, I might have some.

I found the easiest way is to buy the wife her own! That's what I did...she has a great time and doesn't wreck mine (well, of course that is except for when she runs hers into mine...lol)!! Easiest fix I can think of anyway.

That is a good idea in theory. But their is a down side to that . It is hard enough to keep the two savys and jato up and running let alone try to keep hers going. Easier and cheaper just let her bash mine. Gives me a reason to hop it up.LOL

I will be selling my purple hpi tuned pipe so uh....yeah.....you may need one. Mine is darn near mint.

That's why it's always best to buy her her own! Also when she's not looking you've got back up parts!:stickspank:
