    Humm, just found the 3.0 is a 8-cell transmitter. My DX3S is only 4-cell. Anyway, two hump packs in a transmitter? Attached with rubber bands? :) And durability is a matter or current capacity, not voltage.

    I don't think that could be called a "cold" air intake, as there's barely any trapped hot air inside an RC shell. You will find very little improvement, if any. However, it will possibly do a very good job as a "clean" air intake, as being at the front tower area it will catch a lot less dirt...

    The only chance of running 6 hours on one pack is going nuclear :) Even LiPo is actually maxed at 2500mAh, in the size that fits Savage's battery box.

    The brownish color points to a lean condition if the engine has only a few tanks. Interesting about the bottom o-ring, as mine is exactly like yours. And today I just received a brand new carb from HPI and -guess what- the o'ring is missing a slice too. Really weird.

    Yep, really wheels line up better on standard chassis, but this body is huge, it barely fits between XL bumpers. Due to this, I'm thinking about reinforcing it with a thin layer of fiberglass, 'cause it will be touching the ground and flexing much harder than the stardard body.
