cool air intake

ok i saw on ebay a cool air intake system for a savage
it has a tube that comes off the carb and comes out the front shock tower
it has a k a n type air filter
is this a good idea seeing when u have a body on your not getting that much air flow.if this filter comes out the front it whould seem to me it whould be getting more air

it would be a very poor idea. motorsaver is a great hop up if your looking to upgrade. the K&N filter is not ment for rc applications, just shelf queens.

when i had the nitro savage i just "body reamed" a few small holes in the windshield for vent.


prolly dint really even need it tho.

I don't think that could be called a "cold" air intake, as there's barely any trapped hot air inside an RC shell. You will find very little improvement, if any.

However, it will possibly do a very good job as a "clean" air intake, as being at the front tower area it will catch a lot less dirt than at the center.
