    Have you modified the truck from stock? I think you have a short some place and the motor is drawing high amps due to that.

    Bigger is not better. Bigger motors tend not to rev as high thus giving you lower top speed. I had the LRP .28 on my racer and i loved it! I would also suggest using the Picco .28 it is also another awesome motor.

    I got 10 from my K5.9 before i upgraded. The K5.9 still has life in it. As long as you treat them right they should last you a long time.

    Try this: Make the fuel tube longer by maybe a 1/2 a cm. That should solve your problem.
