I actually used the pullstart model and cut the crank. Just like the CVRs. Then all you need is a clutch nut adapter. The problem was I needed to get a TM carb because the pull start model only came in a rotary. That's what I payed.

I am using a motor plate that I cut out myself. For a motor mount I used a RS4 part. The part you are looking for is made by Dan Bright. He used the stock plate with a RS4 flywheel. I am using a BB cluth off the Savage motor that I pulled out. Right now I have a XL with LST2 shocks, and had...

    General racing set up help.

    1. Length. Helps to keep the front end down. 2. Width also helps keep the truck planted. No too crazy like full offset wheels though. Either half offset wheels or XL outers. Too wide you will break uprights. 3. Shave weight get rid of things that you will not really need. Not too much...

Do you have a reverse module?

One of my Savages has it, but I usually forget it's there. I will remove it completely once it breaks.

    My Sunday afternoon

So I have been avoiding swapping out the core support on my truck for a while. I finally got around to doing it today. It was in worse shape than I thought. This is what happens when you use "cheap" not OEM parts for a wreck repair. This piece was put in about 4 and a half years ago.

    Project Flux XL

The Align motor's run too hot for truck purposes. I was given one, and tried it, but it isn't worth using.

Basher to racer in two weeks.

I actually run 8-10K in the front, and 1-5K in the rear. It is better for the front to pull the truck more than the rear push it.

I hear ya Lenny. I was in the Pentagon when it got hit, in fact I lost my desk and all the people I worked with save for a few. I left to go see a friend when the plane hit, and felt the building shake saw the black smoke billowing down the hall way the whole time not being aware of what had...

I always set the screws tight, but still allowing the tranny to spin when I was using SS brakes. I converted over to the red dual fiber brakes now though.
