Hi guys i purchased a savage 25, and was told the motor was rebuilt then put on a self for 8 years. this guy told me parts are still available i am finding this not to be the case the connecting rod in this motor is no good the clutch is also no good here is a video of the connecting rod
i am trying to figure out a good replacement motor, so here i am. this had a .26 on it.can't seem to find a new one or even parts. any idea what i should do with it?
Thanks

Thats terrible I'm sorry that someone took advantage of you like that. Carma will get him i see why it set on the shelf for 8 years. Parts for the savage 25 are had to come by but parts on the savage x are interchangeable with it. There is a couple different parts but nothing that cant be changed. What engine you looking for?

Can one of you explain the difference between the .26 and the 4.6?
