Yea i bought a pack of the HPI 3x8x10mm rubber tubes (stock savage shock bumpstop) theyre what I'm using in my LST's to drop em a bit, dunno whether to use 1 or 2 per shock tho, 2 would lower them 20mm and be close to the ride height using hellfire shafts, i may try that.

Just ordered a set of hellfire alloy caps too, lol when will it end.

Oooooh,Big Bores,very nice:jamout:.

Thanks Pro mate, iv ordered a new set of wheel nuts and il replace all 4, i think the nylon inserts are worn, gotta meet up and run with you guys some day soon, and maybe you can take some of your awesome shots of my truck in action, hint hint nudge nudge lol :stickpoke:
The more the merrier m8,i cant wait to get some pics of your truck, that things the muts dangleys, lol.Next bash is on Sunday 1st November if you can make it down 🙂.

Havnt run it yet mate lol still waiting on wheel nuts to arrive, postal strikes are crippling the mail system here in the UK at the moment, damn workshy posties lol ordered them on the 10th October, and theyre only coming from like 50miles or so away!

Its crazy, my big bores were shipped priority mail from AZ USA on the 7th October and arrived saturday morning by private carrier.

My wheelnuts, ordered on the 10th, 50 miles away and I'm still waiting lol

Even when theres no strikes we don't get our post in my block till 5-7pm each day when the rest of the estate/blocks gets theirs at 8-10am, sack all the stuck in the past, workshy, inconciderate postman i say, theres plenty of unemployed here in the UK to take their place. Rant over lol

Well i gave in today and bought a set of wheelnuts from the LHS, my ordered set still hasn't arrived :cussing:

But i also got a set of new Proline max mulchers on 1/2" offset rims, the calibers are no good on wet grass and mud, pretty much as expected i guess so i had to get something that bites a bit better for the cold wet British winter.

Took a little video but this is all i could get before the camera batteries ran out, my 9 yr old son driving.

Snapped the pullstart cord on the first start, i have no way of pre-heating so thats not an option, so i spent an hour with the engine out re-stringing and tying the pullstart before the bash could start lol first time iv ever done that, was fairly easy, the RSC held up well, iv put slightly longer screws in the front spindle carriers so the full thread is being used, only other hiccup was a popped off turnbuckle.

Cheers peeps, were heading out again this afternoon, hopefully the camera batteries will last a bit longer this time and i can get a longer vid.

Got my Hellfire shock caps and Baja steering link, i needed an extra 1mm or so on my stock link to get it perfect so the adjustable link does that.

Glad to see you haven't given up after that mishap with the lst shock. Looks real good.

Lol cheers FX, nah i was just real P'd off at that time, ya know ya put so much money into a truck and it breaks doing something that really shouldnt break it, but yea I'm glad i didnt, i love my savage iv spent over £1500 GBP on this truck and iv just seen another members truck, i wont mention no names but a very nice build sell for £155 on eBay!

Nobody will pay anywhere near what you spend on them, my savage is mine for good, it aint going nowhere lol.

dodgy post.............

Sorry guys was showing my dad how to post pics, he's just signed up the AudiTTforum and hasn't a clue on how to post pics.

??Whats next for your Savage Londoner?

I don't know mate TBH i think I'm done, there isnt much more i can do now, i want to get a set of wheels/tyres for every surface i run on, i stripped my Savox Ti geared servo yesterday so I'm just debating on whether to replace the gears in it or get a different servo.

How about a carbin build:smilie8:.I would love to see that.

Please..... don't tempt me lol I'm going to start another build early next year, not entirely sure of the plans yet, got a few floating around in my mind but i wanna do something different i know that much.

Well id kinda given up hope of ever recieving my Ti gearbox shafts dues to
the postal strikes and look what turns up today, thought it was lost, just the gear shaft to come now.
