I don't know but I wouldn't trust a squirrel with my hands that close to his mouth, you never know with animals, lol.

My buddy and I once had a great idea to go hunting for a ferret and actually found one. non the less I went to grip him up by his neck and he bit me. next thing you know I'm in the hospital getting 7 needles in my a$$ cheex. I leave the critters be now.
