Hey guys I have noticed some fuel leaking from the back of the k5.9. I think it is coming from between the backplate and the pull starter. I used to have a roto plate on it and when I changed it to a pull start I checked the o-ring on the backplate and it seemed tight. Could the fuel be coming from under the pull starter? If so, what's the best remedy? Seal it with something? I put some silicone grease (all I had within arms reach LOL) around the rim of the pull start last time and didn't notice any fuel for a while. I thought maybe the new plate solved the problem but obviously not. My pull-starter took a crap on me so I'm gonna have the motor out. I'm going to put a new OWB and starter shaft in as well and check my clutch shoes also. Any tips for the fuel leak?
