I hope this is going to be a quick question. I recently did the FLM LCG EXT mid tank mod. With doing this I was going to have to run the fuel lines around the mill. I did not want to do this so I went and was able to rotate the fuel inlet (part #1473 in the f4.6 manual.) I rotated that 180 degrees so that it would be a straight shot to the front of the truck.
When I did this I noticed that it pushed the whole HSN away from the carb. I could still tighten everything down. But I now have to be 4-5 turns in from flush. HPI says that you should not go more then 2.5 in. So I guess my question is, is this OK? I have run it and I get good blue smoke/temps so I assume that it is OK. But being a noob to all this I would like to get some expert advice.
Thank you in advance.
