Blown engine no parts available

So have an octane savage and of course the engine is gone and can't get parts. has any else switch it to electric or nitro engine? Just curious to see what other people have done?

There was a conversation a while back about converting the Octane into brushless here, but unfortunately there isn't a conversion kit available.

The process is pretty straight forward, the hardest thing you'd have to do is make a motor mount for your electric engine.

It may be cheaper to just replace the blown engine than do a conversion.
If the engine is available as a part, that’s what I would do.
