Steam coming from head of engine?
depending on the nitro % you're running, you add shims accordingly....higher nitro % generally add shim...and lower % minus shim...too many shims is not good....(from my understanding)...- rokie1432

when you say hotter, how hot does it get?...normally, when you lean it, it shd run hotter....and it's normal... if you don't have a temp gun, just use a spit test...spit a tear of saliva on your finger, dab it onto the lowest portion of your cooling head (where it joins the crank case)....if the...- rokie1432

New Engine Finally
you should be alright with that temperature you're getting.... once you start driving it abit more, the temp is going to rise up more....keep it below 260-270F.... And yes, always to keep it BDC after running....longer life for your engine...- rokie1432

your diffs will be good on the 30K diff oil.... As for grease..you can use automobile grease....for me, i just use Eureka grease or Tamiya grease on the ring gear and pinion...- rokie1432
