I finally received my engine from HPI. In a fit of possible insanity, I decided to leave the pull start on (since I have been reading that alot of you all prefer that to the roto-start). I have to say that it i nice not to have worry with the roto-start. The engine (once installed and primed) started on the second pull. I'm in the process of doing the heat cycle break-in method and have a question. My engine got to about 210 degrees on the first cycle. If this too hot? I shut the engine down and placed it at BDC for cooldown. Is there a way to reduce that temp to stay in the 190 degree range?

you should be alright with that temperature you're getting....

once you start driving it abit more, the temp is going to rise up more....keep it below 260-270F....

And yes, always to keep it BDC after running....longer life for your engine...
