It will run, but Traxxas fuel is formulated specifically for Traxxas engines and won't perform as well as a fuel like SideWinder or Byrons will....

Shouldn't damage your engine. Any time you change fuel you should be re-tuning.

You have to keep in mind Traxxas fuel is formulated for small block and mid block engines like the 2.5 and 3.3 that they produce, it is not really a big block fuel, it most likely will not damage your engine but it is not going to perform at its peak.....

From what I've experienced, traxxas top fuel has a lot of oil in it, since it's intended to be for people just starting in the hobby. I've been around people running it before and it does spit a lot more oil out than my byrons 2500 race fuel. Odonnel was similar to it.

Regardless, it won't hurt anything to run it.

Ok yes I just attempted the Top fuel in the savage and yes instantly it starting performing super poorly smoked like crazy coming out of my exhaust I was scared to even make a run around to attempt to even try to tune it to the top fuel instantly turned ny truck off emptied out the gas can ill wait till i get the proper fuel to run the truck again and that wads my experiance today with traxxas top fuel guys

Smoke is a good thing. If you have the experience, you just needed to slowly lean the truck out a bit. Smoke means lubrication
