I got my wheels and tires

They are pretty light for 40's (Light Weighted (1.86kg [full set])

They do a good job of putting some traction to the power of the bl

As would be expected from a 40's series, they are not as nimble as standard width

for 60 bucks they are fine

30 bucks for 23mm hexs

we'll see how they last, tryin not to run on street with them too much.

not too much unfortunately...Just shim correctly and have the HD Drive gear you have now. My 39t (2nd speed) idler gear was a hardened gear and never showed any sign of wear... but it does lock your tranny in second.
The other two gears are rubbish and nothing can be done about them... I guess they are your weak links and will need to be changed frequently but at least its cheap, just a pain to change. I asked HPI if they would bring out some hardened gears... they said NO... This is why i thought a centre diff would be best as i couldnt be bother to keep on opening the tranny ever 10 runs or less...

got her back together, the new HD gear is nice.

still waiting on my 6s

likeing the 40's on the flux, makes it less nimble but it is a mt

ran the baja against it yesterday with my bud, with the 44/20 on 2s the baja would pull away from the flux.
The baja isnt quit stock but close.

had a lot of fun racing them around, still like the performance of the flux more than baja. Put the baja back up on shelf untill next year.........lol

thats how long its been since running the baja

just a small update

go bl

you should re-race after you up the voltage

:FarleyParty:

charging the 3s now

update on the performance gain in hour or so

bl:stickspank:nitro

:10:

so, spun off two tires on maiden run.

This is exactly what this flux needed, after I geared it 44/20 and put short tires on it .

Its balistic now, I cant give it full throttle anymore.

I didnt get a full run in because of the tires coming off, reglueing them now.

I say if you want too much power (I do) then skip the 2s and go 3s

:deadhorse: another cool thing about the 3s is when the power starts to drop off on the 3s its much less noticeable, you still have a lot of usable power at end of charge.

just ran it a little more, its brutal'

blows any nitro I have evr seen away with ease, sorry nitro freaks evil clown

just ran the 3s threw another run

I'd say if your going to show up at the bash/race with an electric rc, this would be the way to go. (3s)

Its scary fast

thats one-hellava gluing job tho. usually the bead comes off first.

still fluxn

no damage as of late

I'm trying a castle pinion after destroying several hpi ones

:rocker:
