hello, i have a picco 28 with just over a gallong of fuel through her. my problem is it won't start till i pull the throttle a little while i pull the pullstart. i have primed it and everything and preheated it with the competion heater. this is even when i go to start it the first time. it doesn't even attempt to start till i do this am i doing something wrong? it also does the same thing after it dies and i have to go to restart it after it been running for a while. temps i had it to yesterday after going through a take was 220F its in a savage if that matters with the 250cc ofna mid tank. its not a big problem and least i don't think it is, its just a real pain in the butt to have to hold the remote pull the trigger and pull on the pull start and not have the truck move is just a real pain, lol. thanks for any suggestion.

I have to do this with every motor I have ever had. You can use the trim to give it a little fuel till you start it than dial it back. Also I use my knee on the tire to hold the truck in place while starting.

ya every engine i have owned i have had to set the throttle trim higher for it to start not enough that it screams when you start it but enough to get it going............. and great advice about putting your knee on it especially if your not sure how high to set the throttle trim at first or it takes off like a rocket lol
