Which powerplant for new savage xl build

I need a little input to help decide I'm thinking Lrp .30 or Ercm modded .28 Picco. The truck is a little heavier than normal and running Baja wheels and tires. So let's here your opinion based on experience. Thanks in advancepiccogirl

Well comes down to how much money you want to spend. Around 350for modded pico. 200 for the Lrp 30. The lrp has slot of power and low end grunt. You can gear it to scream with the lrp 30.

They are insane motors and if they are modded you will break parts on your truck. Or http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...tostart-28-Monster-Truck-Engine-Standard-Plug but with RB in limbo with the monster motors I would say go with the Nova. If you want the motor modded I know who you can go to.

The 28-7 from Nova is actually a 10 port motor if you count the transfers.

like John was saying the RB 928 is extreme. wish I would have kept it. I'm almost positive it would pull anything you have done. Nova is solid. Tuning is a simple and it stays tuned or more true in keeping it tuned. I love them. I have the .21 and .28 modded.

ahhhhhh...the question still goes on after all these years and my answer has still never changed. an ERCM p3 & pipe is THE combo.
