Where to mount failsafe?

Where do you guys put your failsafe? This is my first one and I am debating if I should put it in the radio box (hate going in there) or mount it on the outside with the wires going back into the box (did I mention I hate going in there?).

Also, once set, do you need to mess with the failsafe much? If the battery runs low, do you have to reset it again everytime? Any help is appreciate.

Edit: BTW, I have an OFNA failsafe.

Before I ran a 2.4 Futaba radio's with built in F/S's I placed mine in the battery box.

Once it's set correctly I put it in the box. I also test it often too and so far haven't had to readjust it.

i did the same as piney. it fits nicely under the box latch area.

Jeeze, I can't believe I put this in the wrong section. Mods, you can move it if you want.

I was thinking about doing this method too, but I bash in mud puddles and snow and having two holes at the top would allow more water in than I want. Everything is wrapped in ballons inside, but that still doesn't gaurantee 100% water proof.
