every time I go to start the truck fuel will start shooting up the motor. The fuel is higher then the glow plug. Is my motor ruined or do I need a new plug

Something isn't sealing. Do you have the copper washer under the glow plug?

Very difficult to figure out what may be wrong with your vague description of your trouble..... what place is fuel coming out of would have to be my first question...

I'd guess and say something definitely is not sealing right. Did you cross thread the glow plug? Gasket or not if the plug got cross threaded it will spit fuel and I'm surprised it would be firing at all.

Take the plug and look at the threads close. Anything look wacky? With the plug out cover the hole with you finger and turn the engine by hand. Feel compression?

I would suspect you do and something ain't right with that glow plug. Maybe the copper gasket is damaged or too compressed to make a seal.

holy crap I must have put the glow plug in crucked. I stripped the glow plug. Do you think that could've hurt my engine putting it in wrong

Depends on if a new glow plug will go in straight. Take the head off and look hard at the threads from the underside, easier to see than from the top. If you stripped it or cross threaded then a new cooling head will fix you up.

I doubt the motor itself is damaged but while you got the head off take a peek at the top of the piston for any pock marks or dents. If you see em it means the top of the piston was smacking the glow plug...although you'd really have to have that sucker cocked in there pretty bad for that to happen.
