Thunder Tiger plane engine. Aftermarket head? Looks like a heli head but I don't see a .46 heli motor listed on their site so they probably took the PRO .46 and changed the head for use in a heli. Looks like most are selling new for $95 according to google shopping.

This is the only one they have listed for 2-stroke heli, maybe they used to make a .46 heli version but don't make it anymore:

That one doesn't have the carb but all the ones I saw on google shopping show a carb too and most were like $95 with some being like $105.

yes i have searched and found them with the carb and pipe and ive found them with no pipe or carb they all seem to be arround $100.00 either way

since this thing aint worth nothing, and its new how can i get this in a savage.. i know i can use the exd tvps and that should give me room for the mill in the rear, but their will be soo little room, the gears will have to be perfect. no room for motor movement or verry little. how about the tranny and diffs though ..?

Probably alot of work for no gain, your axial makes just as much power but will drink half the fuel, plus you would need a different pipe for it to run properly.

Bulletproof diffs, and the stock tranny? The k5.9 is a .36 and my XL came with the regular diffs and I have yet to damage anything in the tranny or diffs and I bash it pretty hard. I imagine this engine would be like the k5.9 in that it is all low-end torque and doesn't rev that quickly compared to the smaller motors so it may not put the kind of instant crazy power to everything like one of Robin's mills does. That's why I was saying maybe to use this for a puller or 1/5 scale conversion. Something that would need a lot of torque for like jumbo kong tires that you wouldn't expect to be really fast.

ok so i guess the size 46 don't mean it bigger than a .28 i have to find something to do with this thing. it just looks soo cool

its bigger than a .28

not better though, size matters in these nitro's

.28 is your sweet spot for bashing and racing

If it was mine I would build a snow machine with it.

Pure has a cool land craft he designed to fly across the ice/snow on small ski's ~
