I would have to say that their is a good posiablity that it would.. It would probally suck air underneath the lid since there wasn't a good seal their anymore..

Its not leaking bad but when i blow it to get the fuel to come up i can hear a little air leaking out of it. Can this cause idling problems also?

They might, measure the inside diameter and thickness of the o-ring and check the store for one of that size.

When the engine is running, the fuel tank is always at a pressure higher than atmospheric, so you're not going to be sucking in air with a bad o-ring. However, you are going to be losing tank pressure, which will reduce fuel flow to the carb, and likely cause the same symptoms as a vacuum leak.

Went to local hobbie shop they don't carry just the o-ring and wasn't about to spend 16 for a new tank. But when i was looking at the new tanks i noticed they came with 2 smaller o rings kinda figured out what there for and wanna kno if there worth having

Yours was running a hell of a lot better then mine is i think mine o ring was pretty bad i noticed it was kinda dry rotted and after i ran it i would notice fuel around the top half of my tank
