What engine is this

I have this engine sitting around I want to rebuild it but I have no clue what I need for it if possible links would be appreciated

Possibly an early Nova onroad engine, not positive but check this Novarossi link , maybe someone there can id that for you, but truthfully it is more likely going to cost more to rebuild than just buying a more late model engine......

That is definitely a Nova cooling head (not Novarossi). I have one on one of my engines, it is aftermarket. They could be labeled with whatever you wanted on top. It's hard to see clearly from your picture, but does it say Collari to the front of the cooling head?

ya I see Collari on the head and LC on the case so with that I believe it is a Lamberto Collari onroad engine, maybe from the 90's or so..... still made by Novarossi even tho I did not find it in their website....

My guess is that it is the Collari .30/.32 (with rotostarter..) used for Savage years ago..

Is an old engine and parts are very hard to find..

these are a Collari .21 race engine , found on google images, looks virtually the same to me minus the carb and backplate with shaft which may help with id on your engine..... either way I am sure a new more modern engine will be cheaper in the long term for your savage truck......

And this is a .30 with stock cooling head.. They are almost identical. 🙂
So you may have to remove the cooling head and meassure the cilinder..

I have a collari. 30 and it matches other than my cooling head says 30 on it.
