Well my race buggy is gone the way of Ebay, and my new x2 truggys will soon be here. In the mean time, i was wondering if the motor i was using would make a good home in the savvy. Its a Werks B7Pro .21 race mill. This thing is Sick fast and i kinda wanted to see it in the savy, Do yo think it would be a good fit or is this .21 not enuff HP to move this truck that weights about 3 times the buggy. I don't wanna hurt the motor since it will go into my X2 and be raced all next year.. Thanks..

The savage started life with a .21.... run it with a 14 tooth CB and have at it! That mill probably makes close to if not as much power as the K4.6 anyways. You will not hurt it.

I presume it will be fine. The original savage had a .21 in and got around just fine, didn't have the punch of todays huge mills but it wasn't created like todays race mills. Your Werks .21 will have much more power and throttle response than the old HPI .21.

In short words you will be just fine.

If you want more power you can always lower the CB.

You will not be able to run the Werks B7Pro in the Savage.... it is a bumpstart only engine, and there is no practical way to bumpstart a Savage........

lol.. thanks.. i didnt even think about that.. Saved me from wasting my time switch and then switching back.. Good looking out..

I guess ill prep that mill for winter storage..
