hi guys,
b4 i purchase a modded picco p3 28, would like to ask your expertise about modded engine wear n tear. through my beginners knowledge, after playing many times the piston sleeve/liner wil go first.pls correct me if I'm wrong.
for modded engines the liner/sleeve hav been modified to, so after the mod liner/sleeve has warn off,

1. do i hav to get the mod liner/sleeve from the same modder?

2. can i install the modded sleeve myself instead of sending back the engine to the modder?

3. does modded engine piston liner/sleeve and other parts has a shorter lifetime?

4. wat other parts of the engine do i hav to worry in terms of wear n tear?

where i leave they don't sell Picco engines,it goes without saying they don't hav spare parts for Picco mils to.so i hav to order it from overseas.
for future reference...

you will get as much life out of a "good" modders mill as you will stock. maybe a gal or two less but 6-7 gals can be expected by a experienced guy running it. Yes a noob w/o good tuning skills can make it pop fast. I would get a extra con rod to replace in a few gallons as they stretch. But they do in stock mills too. When you have worn out the piston and sleeve to retain the mod you have to have another sleeve modded. yes you can put it in yourself and no the modder does not need the full mill back for the 2nd sleeve. other than the con rod bearings wear out and should be done every few gallons too. That is something you can do as well and needs to be done with the stock mill just as frequent
