wasp 26

i have just got a savage i have a spare engine which is a wasp 26 are they any good and will it be better than the standed engine i am new to these cars

i personaly haven't ever ran a wasp engine ... but what i hear is they are fairly decent engines.. what engine do you have in it now? if its a older 21 id put the wasp in . see what kind of power gain you get.. if its the newer f46 they are nice stock motors.... all comes down to personal prefferences... maybe someone will chime in thats used a wasp 26 before n give you a insite on it...

The wasp 26 is the same as the picco .26 and the omega .26. Insane motor. I have one myself and still run it. It ran laps around a stock picco .28 cause it has a higher Max rpm. And almost kept up with my modded picco .28. I over heated it to 430 degrees + and it still runs just fine. Best motor I have ever seen.

I recomend the wasp motor but parts aren't made for it anymore so when it goes it's gone. Although the carb and one way are the same as the picco .28

I've seen parts available. You just have to look for OFNA or Picco .26. Same sleeve/piston.
