upgrade savage 21 to 46

how to upgrade my HPI savage 21 to K46 or something like this?

I am new in this forum , so forgive me if i post this in the wrong place

i would like to upgrade my hpi savage 21 to much faster , stronger monster truck

I read that changing engine alone might damage the car quickly

what are my options ? (please explain in detail)
Which part i would need to upgrade ?

I also read that trackzilla kit isnt good enough

well,

there is 2 engine u might consider, picco or LRP z3

also you have to change the diff gears with the new savage X , u can find them cheap on ebay

or you can get a complete set of this 1

get 2 and u r done, its for almost 25$ each, while if u got the spyder alone with shims and bearing for LHS will cost u more

as bin sais change the diffs i recomend aluminum housings then add your motor of choice check your slipper clutch for proper adjustment and get to bashin

As already mentioned, once you've upgraded your diffs there's nothing to stop you fitting any engine you like !

There's not much a Savage tranny can't handle !!

umm you don't want the xl diff to put in a savage 21 the dogbones wont be the right size the xl uses 11 mm ballends on the dog bones all other savages use 9 mm ballends
