I have a problem guys...I drive truck for a living, and my radio in the ol pete is back into the shop for the second time. they take it for at least a MONTH!!

spending 12 hours a day in a truck listneing to my leaking exhaust with no music of comedy channels (sirius) is driving me bonkers.

so heres the deal, i need a radio for a peterbilt. its a standard size hole? probably 3"x8"? ill get more exact measurements tomorrow. it needs to be rugged to take the constant rattling and vibrations of a 15.7l cat engine under the hood and the sheer shock of hitting bumps in a semi. i would like to have a line in (for mp3 player). cd player is a must, and obviously has to have a radio function for the Sirius.

not looking to spend like 800$ but i can toss $3-400 in at the most. if you guys can find me one thats cheaper and better, more power to ya.

brands arent a big thing to me, i just need it from somewheres where i can get a replacement warranty on it. not a repairable deal.

thanks for your help peoples!

_Kyle

Dread my kenwood took a beating in a 525B cat skidder and lasted 2 years...

Its this BTW no suspension up to 25ish mph and stumps... that's a good shock test air ride seat and you could still bruise a kidney
5 foot tires no its not photo chopped.. but I wont divulge how I got it to do that

i'll ask around my terminal, we've got a dozen local tractors & 20 or so O.T.R. & a few of the guys have Petes & they all pretty much have sat radio
.
@ bank did you launch the skidder like that on purpose or is that how it landed after you said "oh crap!" wouldnt surprise me if you were bashin' with that thing buddie :resp:

It honestly pulled that wheelie with its own torque. You just can't see the grapple in the back... its a secret. Ricky snapped that pic. That was a demo rig cat gave us when ours went in for a recall. I beat the bag out of it.. That is also the pit about where the barn is now. Just 80 feet lower in the ground. I have more of me doing it at the top of a cliff and the pic was shot from below came out nice. Also smoke shows with our rig w/o chains. Ill tossem over on yahoo remind me...

Dred sorry about the thread jack. Bad part is I do know better!
