When engine runs and then idles the car does the jitter bug but temps are good and it runs great. WHen I pinch the line it revs and before it shuts off it does the jitter bug again! is the engine too rich! Also of the line is really slughish.

sounds like the lsn is to rich if its set correct when you pinch the line it should climb up in rpm just a little and then die after 3-4 seconds
if it dies instantly then its to lean, if the rpms shoot up then die its to rich and you should always see a gain in performance from no power to power (off the line) and at idle the temps should start to drop as the mill is cooling while at idle but if the temps climb while at idle its to lean.

Hey thanx pope! Yeh called lhs he said to lean on low end But all sign point to rich lsn Very sluggish le to the point when throttle given have to be care full it does not die also spits lots of out exsaust. When i just went ou to test lsn lean And richened lsn After going to rich it wouldnt start THe proplem seemed to be better. Find it hard to believe it to lean!!!

How big is your idle gap? try putting it at about .5mm and tune from there. Too big of a gap can cause all sorts of issues.

Thanx Ill give that a try. never meaured but it was set like normally set all engines. It doesnt idle high but ill try it. Could that be the cause of the jitter bug at the end of the pinch test.

It's going to do that at the end of a pinch test, by doing the pinch you are cutting off fuel to the engine causing it to act lean and rev up. This is not the best thing to do, find something you can cover the stinger with, limit your rpm by covering and opening the stinger outlet after you have stopped fuel flow. This will stop the engine from revving too high as the fuel/oil is burnt off.

well I'm not so sure(after thinking it over) that the fijjiting action at idle has anything to do with lean or rich. It seems more like for some reason its a glich in the system, when letting off throttle. Can anyone think of a possible reason for this or am I just over thinking this problem.Thanx let me know.
Does anyone else think about this stuff until its resolved.Checked wires all good, and checked fuel line and reduced carb. opening a little.
