i put an axial .28 engine on early this week and broke it in. i noticed that the carb does not open all the way and the linkage hits the tank. i messed around with yesterday but couldnt get it to work right.

if you guys have any pics of your setups or anything that helps would be great. the only thing ive found is that you have to flip your carb and that puts the linkage out of line a little. thanks

check and see you may be opening it all the way up even if it doesn't pull it all the way out. On my picco it pulls the slide clear of the air intake about 3mm before the slide is pulled to the max.

if your using the stock linkage setup take the plastic 90 degree swivel off and shave a bit off the end thats hitting the tank. I had that issue when I went to the mugen tank last year.

Otherwise do the Ofna linkage set up. There are lots of different ways to do this. Some work better than others.

I also have to agree The Pope. You do not want the slide to pull till it stops as its hard on the Carb. You do want to be sure that it is pulling clear open though which can be checked via pulling off the air filter and looking threw the opening of the carb.
