No wondering it was losing pressure once it got warmed up.......

Anyways glad you found out the problem, sucks though that it is shot.

sorry to hear about your mill, but 5 gallons or so on it certainly isnt bad. i would say u got your money's worth out of it!!!

From what Ive heard you have to be really careful when you do it because it naturally wants to give it an egg shape so you have to make sure your easy on it and do it in small increments. Also heard that you only get another gallon or so then it starts to go down hill again. I would just replace if it were me.

Na, I don't belive in pinching. This is a $100 mill. Pinch $20 and youll need a rod $40 and bearings $20. $80 to freshen up a $100 engine. The rod is necc. because you will be doing another break in. Thats the most stresful time for the rod and its already old. As far as the bearings, if the sleeve is shot, they probably don't have long.

Replacement, IDK. Giving it a lot of thought. I may pull the picco out of the lst2 and put in sav2. Then put the sts.30 in sav1. I may just stick a budget mill in the lst2. Then again maybe just bite the bullet and get another picco. Third option would be to just part out the 2nd savage. Or maybe just shelf the lst2. Its been driving me. Decisions, decisions.
