the Picco .28 is on its way....how do i break it in?

I was looking through the stickies and the one for how to professionally break-in an engine is broken. anyone lemme know how to break in my picco i really don't wanna break this thing? also can i use my stock savage x pipe on it? people have been telling me its the best engine out there is this also true?

Congrats.

For break in I would heat cycle it for the first few tanks than slowly give it more and more gas. They take about a gallon to fully break in. So just take your time.

Yes it is by far the best motor for the money. Some may argue that the lrp is just as fast or a little faster but they just don't have the quality of the picco. I had my .26 overheat to 420 degrees and it is still running fine. I would like to see any other motor do that. Now the next step up is novarossi but the only real diffrence between the nova and the picco is the timing of the engine but a simple race mod done by ercm to a picco gives the picco even more power than the novarossi

one more thing, is invest in a new pipe. money may be tight after the purchase, but to get the picco singing its gonna need to breathe. a few options are the 086 Ofna pipe, macs pipe (needs some work to make it work), or a ERCM pipe made by robin.
