Don’t do it, you will get better scavenging inside the engine but you won’t see any performance increase, this is because as you aren’t getting more air in. The air flows in and straight back out the exhaust port, they would need to incorporate and exhaust valve setup instead of an exhaust port for this to work.

I can explain this in more detail if need be.

Thanks,

Gavin

They are a wast of money. There are much better ways to get more power. Some of these ways are porting and polishing or getting a larger mill. For the cost you are better off getting a LRP or Picco P3 which are very powerful motors especially for the money. If they don't have enought I will suggest sending them to someone like RB Mods or AB Mods or someone like that who will let the motor breath better and more free which will increase performance by quite a bit. Good Luck.

PS>Please watch where you post things so they are in the correct section otherwise people won't see the threads created.
Thanks

If you strap a leaf blower to th eintake of your 1:1 car you will have the same thing as the rb supercharger. Junk, complete wate of money.

I would love to go head to head with the guys at ReemedButt Infestations. Two I dentical engines. Their with that pathetic waste of aluminum againt a bone stock engine that I tune. Well see what their crap is all about.

Plenty of straight talkin from grumpy there ! I would say that's pretty much true. I would also love to see that head to head.
Oh and welcome to THE forum corrupttruck.

ya a top engine builder told me that they stress the engine and don't boost power nearly as much as claimed!!! but i've read here some people using one and liked it so there ya go everyone has there own opinion i guess!!

My freinds and I were given one to try by Black Hawk hobbies when they first came out. My brother-in-law was working there. A group of 6 of us that bashed together put one on my brother-in-laws truck. Savage with a Picco.26. I was still running my s-25 at the time.

First the quality of this thing is pure garbage. Metal slag looked like a 6yr old glued it together. We cleaned most of it out with a dremmel beffore we started.

The truck was hard to tune. I was the least exp. n the group. Racers with 15+yrs exp were tunning this junk. When they finally got it going, it was really rich on low end and no appaant gain on top end. We raced it with another Picco powered truck and the RB garbage lost every time. Thats why I feel confident challenging the company to a head to head race.

We all tried our best to get this crap to run right for about a month. We gave it back to the hobby shop who sent all of them back. He lent out two others to some other groups who reported the same thing. Its a rip off. Stay away from it.

With all of that being said from everyone which is 100% truth, the other thing to stay away from is the RB Ram Air Kit which is even more crap!!! If they did any research at all when they came up with that kit it must of been with a savage that was in pieces!!!! There is no way to make that air kit mount on the truck without bending the air tube!!! PURE CRAP is the nice way of saying it. It's all a scam!!!
