Yep I have an STS .28 and I love it.
At first when I got it I was a newb at motors but it made me learn really quick on them.
As long as you have it sealed up it will be fine and that was my problem it ran like crap because it had air leaks.
I don't know how mine is now since its been ran for 5 gallons under race conditions and ran over 400 degrees a few times from racing but it still starts on the first pull and runs till its out.
mine is brand new so i don't think there will be any leaks....
how much was ur 28 when u bought it and how many gallons did it take to brake in...
all around the backplate and all around the hsn you mean??
i actually didnt get the sts i went to a few different sites and read that alot people had the problem of needles leaning out during tuneing and metal shaving's in the crank case so i a dynomite mach 26 i have 3 tanks throught it just were I'm can take to full throttle for about a second and it kickes so hard i have flipped it 3 times because i don't have a wheelie bar yet and I'm impressed with that
