STS D28M life

i've seen on a few sites where people have said this engine doesnt last long..only about 2 gallons is that true? just wondering.i'm a broke person so i hope it isnt :Xfingers:

I think the .28 has a better life .. never ran on tho ..but still parts availability could be a problem.

I currently have around 5 gallons on my D30M and its still running strong. Like SJ said though its gonna be real difficult to get support on these engines since the fall of STS.

I had a STS .28 and had 6 gallons on it before it hit the bucket.

Then again like others mentioned above, it will be hard to get parts for them.

buy something else IMO. I would seriously take a look at the LRP spec 3. You can find them on ebay brand new in the box for 160ish.

yeah i know i am gunna buy an lrp..its just i was short on cash and bought this sts but i like it..i just hope it lasts a good little while to come up with money for a good engine.
