sts 30 engine. (reviews)

hi guys,
i have just bought a STS 30 engine for my savage.
i just really want to know whether you have any tips or advice on the engine, things that i will/ should do to make it perform better.
or any parts which will definitely need changing. (as they will brake instantly).

hi,
forgot to mention I have looked on different forums and some say that if you run it on 25% fuel you should remove 2 of the shims and leave the silver one. should I do this?
why?

sts is a good motor you have to tune it opposet of like a stock hpi mill purenitro is the one who told me how to tune mine maybe he will chime in and say how to do it because its been about a year from when i last ran it
but i will dig on my pc for the tunning robin gave me if i find it i will post it for u

i have never owned one but from the reviews its said to be a powerhouse.....

i have 2 of this engine.. this engine is great. i used it on savage with 19T cb and 47T spur and it still pull wheelies.
but one of them got damage on the 5th gallons where the conrod spindle at the crankshaft snapped (sorry i don't know what is the name of that thing).

the other was sold off to a friend of mine and he also love it..
