you first need to pull the piston sleave out do this by simply using your fingers and pushing up from the botom of the engine by the piston rod. Once this is done you remove the piston by placing it at top dead center then tilt the engine so where the back plate that you removed is facing down and use you finger to pull the piston rod off the crank once that is done remove the piston. Now that this is done you can simply take a rag and place it on the table put the end of the crank (where the flywheel and cluch go) and push down and it will slip out of the block. That is it any more questions just ask.

My guess is this sleeve will not come out so easy with using your finger so another option is to place a thick zip-tie in the exhaust port and use the crank shaft end (Best with a flywheel attached) and turn it and push the sleeve out that way. Please try the finger tirick first as there is no way to hurt anything with it.

By the way racecort99> Great job explaning it.

I remember a while ago an EBAY chop shop was selling all the Force .26 engine bearings for $3.00, but now all I can find are Force .28 bearings. They could be the same but I'm not sure.

Here is a link to the Force .28 case and bearings, not a bad deal at all for $15 shipped.
